There are many reasons why we tell ourselves we can't do something. What if we see how our lives change if we tried something new today. And then repeat the whole thing over again. Start small, it can be anything such as breathing exercises to hiking, or something rather than ruminating. Try it for a couple of weeks and if no change. Reevaluate what you can do differently.
